Anne Burnidge Dance

Anne Burnidge (Buffalo, NY) is a choreographer, dancer, and dance educator originally from the Chicago area. Her choreography has been presented at national/international venues notably Cool New York, American Dance Guild (NYC), Philly Fringe Festival, Dance Chicago, Toronto International Dance Festival and daCi/WDA Global Dance Summit (Taiwan). Burnidge has received two SOS grants from the New York Foundation for the Arts to support her work.

Burnidge has also performed in works by Bebe Miller, Meredith Monk and Maguy Marin, and with regional dance companies. Currently an assistant professor at SUNY Buffalo, Burnidge has an MFA from Ohio State and a certification in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis. She specializes in somatically informed dance training practices.
