Jennifer Mack

Jennifer Mack (Minneapolis, MN) originally trained at Rochester Ballet School and Janet Lang Dance Studio of Rochester, MN, but also spent summers at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, Alvin Ailey, the Cunningham School, Steps and Broadway Dance Center of NYC. Previously she danced 6 seasons with Continental Ballet and also performed in Montreal, Hungary, Ireland, Colorado, New York, Wisconsin and Minneapolis/St. Paul as a guest artist with: Debra Jinza-Thayer's Movement Architecture, Eclectic Edge Ensemble, Jagged Edges Ensemble, Kari Jensen's Moving Arts Ensemble, Kim Robbards Dance Company, Offleash Area, Rainy Day Cabaret, Ray Terrill & Dancers, Rosy Simas Dance Project, Spandrel, Vox Medusa Dance Company and numerous independent choreographers. Her own choreography has been performed in Hungary, MN, NYC, and WI. It often includes live accompaniment and collaboration with local bands, musicians & composers: Aby Wolf, Ada Jane, Alex Kaufman/Dichotomy, Matt Marka and Ben Seims. Her choreography was recently selected to be apart of the 'Rhythmically Speaking' and 'Renovate'
Choreographer's Evenings in Minneapolis, MN and was awarded a Cultural Arts Grant through Eau Claire, WI in 2012, which she used to co-produce 'Movement Arts Day 2012' with fellow choreographer, Cheri Dostal. Jennifer graduated Magma Cum Laude with a B.A. in Dance Performance and a B.S. in Arts Management & International Business from UW-Stevens Point. She is currently a member of St. Paul City Ballet, Cities Classical Dance Ensemble, Alternative Motion Project and teaches at Janet Lang Dance Studio & Prairie School of Dance.
