sk dancers/Susan Koper

sk dancers (Muncie, IN) Ms. Koper started sk dancers in 2012 shortly after completing her MFA in Dance at Hollins University/ADF. As a choreographer, Susan is captivated with the process of choreography and is interested in making work that moves and informs those who experience it. Therefore, in an effort to bring her own unique, personal and thoughtful artistic voice to a wider audience, Susan formed the dance ensemble sk dancers as a means to show work in other areas of the country. The company performed at the 2013 DUMBO Dance Festival in New York City, the 2015 Oakland Dance Festival in Michigan as well as at the 2014 Diversity Symposium and 2016 Benjamin Cohen Peace Conference in Indiana. The company will be performing in the 2016 Detroit Dance City Dance Festival in August and continues to investigate new performance opportunities throughout the country.
