Aerial Dance Chicago (Chicago, IL) (ADC) was founded in 1999 with a vision of taking dance into flight. Incorporating a variety of apparatus such as suspended fabrics, bungee cords, hoops, swings and ropes, dancers were no longer bound to the traditional dance floor, and the company set out to explore the potential for compelling and powerful expression within multi-dimensional space.
Characterized by extraordinary physicality and originality, the company's work has been presented across the United States at theaters, museums, schools, universities and festivals, including popular hometown venues such as The Athenaeum Theatre, North Shore Center for the Performing Arts, Ruth Page Center for the Arts, Navy Pier, Museum of Science & Industry, Millennium Park and the historic Grand Ballroom of the Drake Hotel.
In 2014, ADC opened Chicago’s premiere dance center dedicated to the fine art of aerial dance, offering cutting-edge curriculum in contemporary dance, both on the ground and in the air. Located at 4028 W. Irving Park Rd, with immediate access to 90/94 and the Irving Park Blue line and Metra stop, this new center is situated at a cultural and transit hub in Chicago, and is an asset to the professional performing arts community in Chicago.
Today, Aerial Dance Chicago continues to deliver an underrepresented art form to the diverse cultural spectrum in Chicago, reaching over 10,000 people annually. Alicia Cutaia (Detroit, MI) a dancer with Eisenhower Dance Ensemble, earned her BFA with honors from Point Park University with a double major in Classical Ballet and Jazz. Her previous training included scholarships at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, North Carolina Dance Theater, and River North Dance Company. She has worked with and performed pieces by many renowned choreographers, including Lar Lubovitch, Louis Falco, Michael Foley, Keisha Lalama-White, Joel Hall, Lou Conte, Daniel Gwirtzman, Lynn Taylor-Corbett, Daniel Ezralow, Choo-San Goh, Alan Hineline, Harrison McEldowney, Kevin O’Day, Frances Patrelle, David Storey, Margo Sappington, and Christian Holder. Ms. Cutaia previously danced with Hubbard Street and Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. Her choreography has been showcased at the Jazz Dance World Congress, Leo’s Choreography Competitive Event, the Maggie Allesee New Choreography Award, Michigan Youth Arts Festival, Dance Chicago, and the NSAL Mid-Michigan Chapter. Her work Impact was recently set on Eisenhower Dance Ensemble. Ms. Cutaia’s teaching credits include the Lou Conte Dance Studio, Oakland University, the ABT Summer Intensive and the EDE Center for Dance. She also enjoys teaching master classes and setting choreography nationally.

Audra Sokol (Muncie, IN) received her B.S. from Ball State University. Upon graduation, Audra was awarded a full scholarship to the University of Iowa, where she received her MFA while continuing her training and education in dance. She has received awards from Regional Dance America and Dance Magazine for her performance and choreography. She has been given the highest choreography award four times allowing her to participate in the Craft of Choreography Conference as a Project Tier Recipient. Her works “The Cleansing” and “…and she was perfect.” were both selected for national festivals through Regional Dance America and the American College Dance Festival. Audra is highly active in teaching summer dance intensives and setting works on companies throughout the United States such as Apex Contemporary Dance Theatre and Common Thread Contemporary Dance Company. Her choreography has also been selected to be performed in festivals throughout the country including Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival, Triskelion Arts, and Dance Under the Stars in California. Audra has served on the dance faculties at Purdue, Ball State University, and University of Iowa. Currently, Audra is an Assistant Professor of Dance at Ball State University and the Artistic Director of the departmental dance company, Ball State Dance Theatre.

Becky Valls (Houston, TX) is an Assistant Professor of Dance at the University of Houston and an independent choreographer. This is her fifth year producing and choreographing the Memoirs of the Sistahood series, evening-length, multi-disciplinary works based on her large Catholic family from Louisiana, with sister/sculptor Babette Beaullieu of New Orleans, and filmmaker Deborah Schildt of Anchorage. They have received numerous grants to produce Chapter 1 (2007), Chapter Two: House (2009), and Chapter Three: Ave Maria (2011) including a National Performance Network Grant to perform in New Orleans. Valls recently presented choreography at the University of Houston and Stephen F. Austin University in Texas, the College of Brockport in New York, Tempe Arts Center in Arizona, and the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston in Texas. Valls has a MFA in Choreography from Sarah Lawrence College in New York where her choreography received national recognition by ACDFA and was performed at the Kennedy Center.

Choreographer Lyndsey Rhoads was raised and trained at the Central Oklahoma Dance Center until 2000. A dance teacher and print model by day, Lyndsey has also performed with Corpo DAnce Company and Collage, and recently enjoyed guesting for Paul Christiano's remount of The Lesser Known. Lyndsey is currently an instructor at Urban Beat Dance, The Center for Ballroom and Dance in Deer Park, and has taught weekly or master classes everywhere from Dance West Ballet to Gus Giordano's and Breakdance Chicago.

DanszLoop Chicago (Chicago, IL), a theatrical modern dance company, was founded in 2001 by Artistic Director Paula Frasz and a nine-member Board of Directors, dedicated to bringing high-quality, audience-friendly modern dance to the City of Chicago and its environs. Not-for-Profit status was achieved in 2002.

DanszLoop Chicago specializes in dance interpretations of the written word, specifically plays. DLC collaborated with renowned Flamenco artist Luis Montero in 2007 to create a modern dance adaptationn of "The House of Bernarda Alba", the iconic Spanish play by Garcia-Lorca. Bernarda successfully began the drama/dance fusion of DanszLoop Chicago choreography and performance.

Today DanszLoop is expanding to national audiences. Frasz was commissioned to choreograph a dance adaptation of a Tennessee Williams short story. Lorita was performed by DanszLoop Chicago at the prestigious Tennessee Williams Festival (Provincetown, MA) in September of 2008.

The company presents annual and bi-annual concerts in Chicago. It is regularly featured in Dance Chicago,and in 2009, Best of Dance Chicago. Summer finds the company performing in the Bucktown Festival and other outdoor fairs. DanszLoop continues to present unusual and successful performances, benefits and special events.

DanszLoop is growing through its university outreach teaching programs in colleges and universities throughout the Midwest. Nominated for the Elizabeth Cheney Award through the Chicago Dance and Music Alliance, recepient of government grants and numerous gifts from individual donors, DanszLoop takes its place as one of the most engrossing, exciting new dance companies in the city of Chicago.

Autumn Eckman (Chicago, IL) an Atlanta native, received her classical training from the Houston Ballet Academy under Clara Cravey and Steve Brulee. In 2000, Autumn relocated to Chicago to join Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, where she is currently serving as Artistic Associate and Director of Giordano II. She has also been a dancer with State Street Ballet (Santa Barbara), Cangelosi Dance Project, Lucky Plush Productions, Luna Negra Dance Theater, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Ron De Jesus Dance, and Collective Body Dance Lab. Autumn has created five works for the Giordano company and has been commissioned by several companies, universities, and schools including DanceWorks Chicago,Western Michigan University, Grand Valley State University, Vitacca Dance Project, Chicago Repertory Ballet, KRESA, Missouri Contemporary Ballet, State Street Ballet Young Dancers, and Contemporary Dance South . In 2010, she was named as a "standout choreographer" in the Chicago Tribune and Dance Chicago’s “New Choreographic Voice” in 2009. Autumn enjoys teaching all disciplines of dance and is a teacher at the Lou Conte Dance Studio and Visceral Dance Chicago.

Dori Santarsiere (Chicago, IL) started training in all forms of dance at the age of eight with Joan Golden in her small desert community in California. At age eleven she began to study at Inland Pacific Ballet of Montclair, California. Under the direction of Victoria Koenig, she benefited from master teachers Janek Schergen, Maria Veigh and Rebecca Wright. Dori has also studied on scholarship with the Joffrey Ballety, Ballet Austin and Lou Conte Dance Center. Dori performed professional with the Houston Ballet, Anaheim Ballet and works by Robert Battle, Katarzyna Skarpetowska and Harrison McEldowney as well as the opportunity to work with choreographers Alex Ketley and Azure Barton. In 2004 she was accepted into Harrington College of Design where she graduated with high honors in August 2006 with a BFA in Interior Design and a minor in Architecture. Dori joined Thodos Dance Chicago in 2007 taking full advantage of their three-fold mission, expanding her resume to include several choreographic credits and working as a master teacher in high school and college dance workshops around the country. In addition to teaching all forms of dance, Dori is a certified Pilates Instructor teaching at several gyms and private studios around Chicago. As one of the fresh new faces of the Chicago choreographic scene, her works have been described as "elegant", "sensual", "dynamic and challenging." Dori was featured in Dance Chicago 2009 as the 'Extended Views' choreographer and was recently recognized by Dance Magazine as one of the Active Women Choreographers. In one of her more recent independent projects, she was chosen by world renowned DJ and artist Jeff Mills to portray on film the 'Aero-Futurist Dancer' in his latest installation piece Critical Arrangements. Commissioned by the Pompidou Center in Paris, the exhibition toured Paris and Rome before moving to the Tate Gallery in 2010. Dori is trained in aerial dance and is currently a founding company member of Chicago Repertory Ballet.

Elements Contemporary Ballet (Chicago, IL) is the first and only contemporary ballet company based in Chicago. Combining the beauty of classical technique with contemporary style and verve, Elements Contemporary Ballet advances and explores ballet through the marriage of innovative concepts and classical art. Founded in 2005 by Artistic Director Mike Gosney, the company trains and develops its work using the four elements; fire, earth, air, and water; to each represent a major facet of dance; expression, physicality, focus, and freedom. Ingrid Graham (Los Angeles, CA)is a performing artist and choreographer. Her credits include performing and choreographing at Merce Cunningham, Edinburgh Festival, California African American Museum, LAWTF and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. She has performed with the Pacific Northwest Ballet and as a guest artist at Stephen Sondheim's Gala Benefit. Her television credits include the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Grammy's and The Today Show among others. Her films have received honors and screened at Dance:Film in Scotland, ADF International Screendance Festival at Duke University and The Los Angeles Movie Awards. Her solo work has been presented by West Wave and as a finalist in the "Dance Under The Stars" Choreography Festival.

Founded in 2012 and located in Jacksonville, Florida, Jacksonville Dance Theatre (JDT) is a 501(c)(3) contemporary dance and performance company dedicated to creating and promoting excellence in the field of professional dance on local, national, and international stages. JDT is committed to creative innovation and exchange through dance making, performance, and education. Led by Artistic Director, Rebecca R. Levy, Executive Director, Katie McCaughan and Creative Director Tiffany S. Santiero, JDT has been presented through the Dance Gallery Festival in New York City where JDT won the Audience Choice Award in 2014; MixMatch Dance Festival in Santa Monica, California; Dance Gallery Festival in Huntsville, Texas; and Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival, among others. Founder and choreographer of Jaxon Movement Arts a project based company that works off of Jacqueline as an independent choreographer producing work in both New York City and Chicago. Jacqueline holds a B.F.A. in Dance from The University of Iowa. A native to the City of Chicago, Ms. Stewart has performed for such companies as Thodos Dance Chicago, The Seldoms and various other artists. Stewart has choreographed for Thodos New Dances, Open House Dance Chicago, Dance Chance Chicago, Chicago Takes Off, Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival and Duets for my Valentine. In 2010, Stewart premiered her work “It’s Not Enough to Close Your Eyes for The Open Space Dance Project that became the Grand Prize Winner of The A.W.A.R.D. Show! 2010: Chicago granted by The Joyce Theatre Foundation of New York. Ms. Stewart has recently showcased her work and performed at the Joyce Soho, Jennifer Muller The Works, Reverb Dance, The Ailey Citi Group Theatre, and The Wild Project New York. She has produced three concerts in collaboration with other Chicago dance makers including Jessica Miller Tomlinson. Winifred Haun and Dancers and Chicago Repertory Ballet have most recently commissioned Jacqueline’s work.

Osnel Delgado Wambrug (Havana, Cuba) is the Founder and Artistic Director of Malpaso Cuban Dance Company, based in Havana, Cuba. Jordan Reinwald (Chicago, IL) is a freelance dancer, currently dancing as a company member with Aerial Dance Chicago. Together, Wambrug and Reinwald are a collaborative duet working together through long distances. They've been creating work for about a year, when they are in the same city.

Khecari (Chicago, IL) is a non-profit company presenting the work of choreographers Julia Rae Antonick and Jonathan Meyer as well as their collaboration together. Khecari is a Chicago-based group working in contemporary dance. We are committed to rigorous artistic inquiry supporting emotionally grounded and socially relevant performance. Our work stems from somatically based choreographic generation, investigation into momentum and kinetically exuberant partnering, and re-envisioning the intricacies of the theatre to offer unexpected modes of audience experience.


Kristina Isabelle (Chicago, IL) originally from Columbus, OH, is the artistic director of Kristina Isabelle Dance Company and co-director of HighJinks Productions. Isabelle earned her BFA in dance from The Juilliard School and an MFA in dance and choreography from The Ohio State University. She has performed with Bebe Miller, Stephen Petronio, Jordan Fuchs, and Earth Circus Productions.

Her choreography has been produced in Chicago, Columbus, New York, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, Fort Worth, England, Ireland and Poland at the Bytom International Dance Festival. She has been a finalist in the BalletMet choreographers project in 2004, 2006 and 2008. She has been selected as one of the Chicago Dancemakers Forum Lab Artists for 2012.

She has served as a guest artist and adjunct professor for The Ohio State University, Kenyon College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Wittenburg University, Alfred University in New York, and The College of Lake County in Illinois. She is currently teaching at Joffrey and an After School Matters program at Steinmetz High School

Lindsay M. Anderson earned degrees in dance and English from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. She resides in Minneapolis where she has performed and choreographed since 2007. She’s a member of Rosy Simas Danse and has worked with Kinetic Evolutions Dance Company and several choreographers in the Twin Cities. Lindsay has performed at The Southern Theater, Bedlam Theater, Cedar Cultural Center, Bryant Lake Bowl, and Patrick’s Cabaret, among others. She has presented her work at the In Motion and Kinetic Kitchen series, The Phipps Center for the Arts, and most recently at Renovate 2012 at the Ritz Theatre.

Amanda Doerr received her degree in dance from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point where she also studied Media Arts. How to Make a Paper Crane was her first media collaboration with Lindsay Anderson. Amanda currently resides in Chicago where she teaches at May I Have This Dance, a social dance studio.

Marquez Dance Project (Cleveland, OH) explores life’s moments through an artistic scope. The objective behind this contemporary dance company is to recapture moments that are compelling to the human spirit in a theatrical and often surreal interpretation. In developing choreography, it is essential to explore beyond the realm of dance for inspiration. Collaboration from other artistic genres facilitates in creating works that are meaningful and honest.

Artistic Director Jennifer Sandoval is a graduate of Kent State University where she earned a BFA in performance and composition. She has been blessed with the opportunity to work with a number of dance companies and choreographers including: Nicole Gifford Dance, Michael Bratt, Melissa Mallinson, MorrisonDance, TJ & Company Dance Theatre, SMARTdance, Tyego Dance Project, Perceptual Motion, Inc., and Mam Luft Dance. Festivals include: International American Choreographers Showcase, Dance Chicago, Around the Coyote, Full Circle, Ohio Dance Festival, Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival, and Big Box through Cleveland Public Theatre. Nicole Gifford Dance (Chicago, IL) was founded in 2005 by Artistic Director Nicole Gifford. Nicole's work is inspired by movement and stillness found in nature and the moments that leave an impression on our human nature. Relying on the senses; reflecting the shapes and feelings experienced when we are most present and honest with ourselves. Working closely with husband Jim Gifford, Nicole strives to layer her choreographic expression with live music, specifically jazz-fusion for its improvisational element. Her goal is to create a richer understanding for the audience and a spontaneous experience on and off the stage. Her work has been presented at many festivals in Chicago including Around the Coyote, Dance Chicago, Full Circle, Rebound, and World Dance Night at the Old Town School of Folk Music. Nicole has co-produced several dance concerts since 2005 at Ruth Page, The Galaxie and Hamlin Park Field House with Chicago artists Marquez Dance Project, Jay-Son Dance Company and Core Project. She recently self-produced NGD’s first full length concert, “MILES ELECTRIC”, which was performed entirely to live music from Miles Davis' Electric Period. Nicole was the recipient of a 2006 CAAP grant for choreography from the Illinois Arts Council as well as a recipient of the Dance Bridge Summer 2009 residency through the Chicago Cultural Center Department of Cultural Affairs.


ology dance (Chicago, IL) presents exploratory movement works that study and celebrate life experience through the creative process. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, philosophy, psychology and more, artistic director Melissa Mallinson has presented her choreography in concerts, alternative venues and more than a dozen festivals in Chicago, throughout the Midwest and in Scotland. Melissa graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan, training under esteemed artists Peter Sparling, Robin Wilson, Judy Rice and more. As a soloist with the Kalamazoo Ballet, she danced leading and principal roles in The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Coppelia and premiered the lead female role of Mina in an original production of Dracula choreographed by August Tye. She also performed with Ann Arbor Dance Works under the mentorship of Gay Delanghe, Khecari Dance Theater, TJ&Co, Perceptual Motion Dance, Marquez Dance Project, Nicole Gifford Dance, and many independent artists throughout the MidWest. In 1992 she became the youngest choreographer to date to have work performed in the Regional Dance America/MidStates Regional Ballet Association Festival in Fargo, ND. Melissa's choreography has been produced by the Edinburgh International Festival Fringe, the National Congress of Carillonneurs 2001 conference, Around the Coyote, Dance Chicago, The Field- Chicago, and the Old Town School of Folk Music. Rebecca Nettl-Fiol (Champaign, IL), Professor of Dance at University of Illinois, is a choreographer, teacher, author, and Alexander Technique teacher. She has choreographed over 5 productions for Dance at Illinois and over 30 opera and musical theatre productions including for UI Opera and Theatre programs and Interlochen Center for the Arts. Recent venues for her work include the American Dance Guild Performance Festivaol and FranceOff!, both in New York City, and the Frente de Danza Independienta Sala de Artes in Quito, Ecuador. Nettl-Fiol has taught numerous workshops and presented at national and international conferences and institutions on the applications of Alexander to dance. Her book, The Body Eclectic: Evolving Practices in Dance Training, was published in 2008, and her newest book, Dance and the Alexander Technique: Exploring the Missing Link, was published in 2011. She recently received the University of Illinois Campus Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching.

RE|dance group (Chicago, IL) Michael Estanich and Lucy Riner established RE|dance group in 2009, after ten years of performing, producing and collaborating on various dance projects in Chicago together. As former members of Molly Shanahan/Mad Shak, we cultivated our choreographic ideas and many years later, decided to form RE|dance group as a means to further develop our inimitable, creative dance-theatre approach. Central to the success of the company has been the trust and collaborative spirit between us—as we each spearhead different aspects of the company’s organization. Michael evokes and directs much of the artistic voice of our work, while I manage the day-to-day, business, and strategic planning components (and have the pleasure of performing and informing the work we do). Originally designed as a duet partnership for us to take advantage of and further develop our long established and admired performance energy together, RE|dance group quickly grew into a company of nine dancers committed to creating enthralling, complex, and personal dance-theatre. The company annually produces a Chicago season while our national touring schedule continues to add new cities each year. RE|dance group is working towards the production of our of 10th anniversary season which will include several performances in spaces large and small throughout 2019. As 2018 unfolds, RE|dance group is excited to continue casting our net out to audiences in different parts of the country and world.

Roberta Wong (Indianapolis, IN) Two-time Creative Renewal fellow (Arts Council of Indianapolis) and Indiana Arts Commission grant recipient Roberta Wong enjoys teaching at Butler University, Dance for Parkinsons Indianapolis, Indiana University, Indianapolis Ballet Theatre and Dance Kaleidoscope. Additional teaching has included Anderson University, Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theater Summer Conservatory and many Indianapolis area studios, as well as the Indiana Dance Festival, Lafayette Ballet and Mid-States Regional Dance Festival. Highlights of choreography include Anderson University's "Candles and Carols," the Emily Hunt Benefit for Spinal Cord Research and the Indy Convergence, from where her work has been further presented at the Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival. She holds a biology degree from Butler University.

Same Planet Different World (Chicago, IL) Led by Artistic Director Joanna Rosenthal, an accomplished choreographer, performer and educator, SPDW self-produces two concerts each year and participates in a variety of festivals throughout the Chicago area and nationally. SPDW performances offer unique aesthetics and perspectives and never cease to be dynamic and inspiring. Known for presenting the choreography of artists from across the country, seasoned veterans as well as up-and-coming innovators, SPDW events feature dance genres that range from classical to post-modern, satire to high-octane virtuosity.

Since 2008, SPDW has made significant strides in engaging a national market and building credibility among presenters in Chicago and in communities throughout the United States. A recipient of an A.W.A.R.D. Show! Chicago grant in 2010, SPDW has been presented locally by the Dance Center of Columbia College, and has toured extensively with residency work at the University of Iowa, Illinois State University, and St. Paul’s School in New Hampshire; and offered performances at the Joyce Soho and Wave Rising Festival in New York City, Spring to Dance –Dance St. Louis and The University of Minnesota. The company is a recipient of a MacArthur Foundation International Connections Fund, supporting a tour to Israel. SPDW is a member of Pentacle’s Artist Gallery. During its fifteen- year history, SPDW has cultivated a community of artists both locally and nationally that embody its mission to be inclusive of local talent in its exchanges with national artists it brings to Chicago. SPDW has been actively cultivating and building a reputation as an educational and experiential resource for the professional and professional-in-training dance community in Chicago. To that end, SPDW Dance Theatre is responsible for the Guest Artists Project, a program that commissions national artists to conduct workshops and set new work on the company, and the High School Performance Company. Same Planet Different World Dance Theatre is a contemporary-based repertory company that presents the work of its Artistic Director and other choreographers, both established and emerging. The Company strives to present choreography that can support a humanistic voice while remaining in the physical world where dance is the primary ingredient; using the full moving body for expression. The Company maintains an ever-evolving body of work that is driven by theatricality, athleticism, tenacity and accessibility for its audience.

The Moving Architects (Chicago, IL) was founded by Erin Carlisle Norton in 2007. Drawing from her training in Laban Movement Analysis and academic dance studies, Norton takes a highly visual approach to dance-making, assessing movement phrases based on their filmic and thematic properties. As an artist, she seeks to channel research of places, structures, their histories and associated cultural transformations into choreography, exploring the embodiment of past and distant spaces in the heightened presence of live performance.

The Moving Architects have toured throughout the United States and internationally, their most recent performance having been the premiere of SECTOR. In 2011, the U.S. Embassies in Dushanbe and Bishkek, alongside the U.S. Department of State brought the company to Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, and this year Norton has been invited to teach and perform throughout Morocco with the Association D'Fleur's Action 5 Dans Festival. The company also maintained a short residency as part of Tercer Festival Internacional de Danze Antigua, in Guatemala City in June 2012.


The Visitor(s) (Chicago, IL) Marc Macaranas, originally from Delano, CA, has performed in Chicago, across North America and in Europe with companies as diverse as Lucky Plush Productions, The Seldoms, Luna Negra Dance Theatre, DanceWorks Chicago and Montreal-based RubberBanDance Group. As a choreographer, he has presented work at Links Hall, The Open Space Project, Duets for My Valentine and Dance Chance: Redux. Currently, Marc explores the intersection of food and sensation-based dancing, presenting work through his new venture, The Visitor(s). He conducts movement research from the comfort of his kitchen and living room.

Winifred Haun & Dancers was founded in Chicago in 1991 by award winning choreographer and dancer, Winifred Haun. In the 21 years since its founding, the Company has garnered numerous awards and accolades, including Critic's Choice from the Chicago Reader and TimeOut Chicago, and features and reviews in the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, Madison.com, RogueBallerina.com, Flavorwire and Examiner. In 2000, the Company received the Ruth Page Award for "Outstanding Contribution to Dance in Chicago" for initiating and producing Chicago's NEXT Dance Festival, which grew to be the midwest's largest dance festival for the new work of Chicago area artists. In 2009, the Company was selected to receive the Oak Park Area Arts Council's prestigious "Best in Class" Award.

The mission of Winifred Haun & Dancers is to create and produce the dance works of Ms. Haun and other midwest artists and to make those works available to the widest possible audience. Part of the Company's artistic vision is to have dance viewed no only in the context of professional presentation, but also at the community level and in non-traditional performance venues.
