Now in year nine, the Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival is a stalwart, one of the few remaining festivals in the city committed to presenting underrepresented artists.
The fall harvest of dance on display ... yielded a bountiful sampler in the art of the duet, along with two starkly contrasting ensemble works that anchored each half of the program with knock-out dancing.
"Dance, like all the arts, is a gift. A gift only means something when it is shared with a full and open heart. Seeing it, sharing it, and producing it is an honor."
